Dane Michael Group
The DANE MICHAEL GROUP was formed in the 1980’s by Dane Michael Smith. It has entertained audiences for the past 30 years performing at over a 1,200 shows, pageants, conventions, corporate parties, weddings and many other special events, including appearances on television and radio.
The GROUP has entertained at the finest venues in central and south Florida including, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Tampa’s Aquarium, Cypress Gardens, the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Ruth Eckerd Hall, the Bayfront Center, the Ringling Mansion, the Shriner’s International Headquarters, and the Church of Scientology in Clearwater Florida. The Band has played at many private clubs such as the Tampa Club, Centre Club and the President's Club. They have also appeared many times at the area's finest hotels and restaurants including the Peabody in Orlando, the Hyatts, the Sheratons, the Hiltons, the Radissons, the Don CeSar, the Bellview Biltmore, the Lido Beach Club, Armani's, the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota and Naples Fl, and at many fine country clubs and convention centers such as Tampa Convention Center, Tampa Palms, Avilla, East Lake Woodlands, Innisbrook, and Saddlebrook. The Band has played for many national and international clients including the Ford Corporation, Chevrolet, Kraft Foods, Lays, Coca Cola, Raymond James, the Florida Department of State, the Governor of Florida, Ford of France, BMW of Germany, and many more.
The DANE MICHAEL GROUP has also performed at numerous special events such as the grand re-opening of the Stouffer's Vinoy Hotel, the G.T.E. Grand Prix, Home Shopping Network's Connie Stevens Awards, many U.S. Marine Corps and Pinellas County Debutante Balls, Okeefe’s St Pat’s Day events in Clearwater for 15 years, just to name a few.
The GROUP has also played for many sports and college organizations such as the Tampa’s Outback Bowl, University of Florida Gators with then coach Steve Spurrier, New York Yankee late president George Steinbrenner, The University of Georgia president and the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team party, 2008, at the Bellview Biltmore Hotel In Clearwater, Florida.
The DANE MICHAEL GROUP continues to perform shows and concerts in Florida, North Carolina and California.
